Theros: Beyond Death is set in the underworld of the plane of Theros – the legendary world of gods, heroes and monsters. It is a top-down design inspired by Greek mythology, and is a continuation from the Theros block released on tabletop Magic in 2013. The planeswalker Elspeth Tirel makes an appearance as a Returned.

For those who cannot play in the Main events, Play at your own leisure! Build a 40-card deck and play with other prerelease participants at your convenience! No tournament structure, no prizes, just grab a prerelease pack and start playing at your leisure!
